Gamers... GoodBye Vista®

Windows Vista® is the next major version of Microsoft Windows, the proprietary operating system developed by Microsoft. Prior to the announcement of the Vista name on July 22, 2005, it was known by its codename Longhorn.

The Inquirer reports that the new coming Windows Vista® gamers will need 2GB plus of memory.

The report showed tested Machine had an AMD Athlon 4000+ CPU and 2GB of Memory with 7800GTX VGA Card , if you will not to run any games on your Vista® Machine you need at least 1GB of Memory to run default applications like Word or Paint.

even with 2GB of Rams and 1.23GB of Page File the Machine still work slow.

  • I didnt read anything like this anywhere else, so i don't think this is true, but well... lets talk facts, XP dies with 512 MB ram with a few applications running, so the Vista would need 512 to run and the new games will need another 512 or more... so i dunno...

  • If you didnt read, you are reading now...BTW,its not my fault

more, you cant say "i don't think this is true" without any proofs ... if u want more than this article and the snapshot you can check these links :

    [Microsoft Site] or [WikiPedia]

you can see that the MINIMUM RAM to run Vista is 512MB just for default applications
if we use your un-logical equality you need another 512MB to run more efficient and another one to get relax , till now u need 1.5GB without any heavy applications or Games

    Regards
